Food Service Supervisor

Job Description

Location: Waterloo, ON, N2J 2Z6

Salary: $24.50/hour | 30 to 40 hours per week

Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time

Shifts: Early morning, Evening, Morning, Day

Start Date: As soon as possible


Overview:
Languages: English

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: 1 year
On-site work only; no remote option available.

Responsibilities
• Supervise and coordinate staff who prepare and portion food
• Address customer complaints or concerns

• Prepare food order summaries for chef

• Determine type of services and implement operational procedures

• Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance

• Monitor revenues and costs

• Analyze budget to boost and maintain restaurant profits

• Evaluate daily operations and plan daily activities

• Supervise staff and ensure health/safety regulations

• Organize and maintain inventory

• Conduct performance reviews
